Your deck could be less price, it's not overpriced garbage, but you could cut the price in half and it would be just as good. It's a much worse Eldrazi then the others. You have 101 cards, Desolation Twin could be cut to make 100. Nice start for mono blue and interesting Commander who I don't see played much. ![]() Hey, thanks for all the upvotes at my decks. At the moment your deck looks too slow to be able to establish a presence before being run-over.īraids & her Interdimensional Friends 4 months ago I think overall you need to focus a lot more on the control elements of your deck, and less so on the gimmicks. But also these would be better served as more countermagic), Artful Dodge (there’s zero reason to run this), and Wall of Frost (casting it just leaves your shields down for the opponent to cast what they want, and as this card does nothing, it can be dealt with at your opponents leisure, or just ignored if they go-wide or use flyers). Other cards i’d suggest ditch are Dreamscape Artist (requires too much mana to do anything, likely to mess up your own tempo more than help you), Swiftfoot Boots (opponents can always kill your creature un response to the equip. Though this feels like something that could be addressed if you really wanted to run this card. The Magic Mirror also feels unrealistic because you just don’t have enough instant/sorcery density to get its cost down. Because you’re not a ramp deck, i think all those cards you have costing over 4 mana are unrealistic, and should be ditched. Dreamscape Artist is insufficient for this because the mana investment he requires will put your opponent too far ahead on boardstate. You don’t have any kind of reliable way to ramp lands. A lot of these should be long term goals!ĭon't tell Rett I gave you so many suggestions XD See which look most appealing/are in your price range and add those first. I think if you tried putting a list together with all the cards I named, plus some of the bangers from your current list and you'd have a badass deck! Don't worry about trying to do all that right now, though. ![]() I know I've given you a lot of suggestions. Even before you get the lands I just named, you should cut 6 Plains for 4 Swamp and 2 Island. You also have way too many plains right now. I'd suggest going for some fetches, checks, and shocks like: You should also consider taking a look at your mana base. ![]() You could also do cute stuff like Phyrexian Unlife + Solemnity, giving yourself time to wipe the board again or go for the win with Peer into the Abyss. In order to accomplish this, I think you should cut a ton of the creatures and really lean into board wipes, control spells, and resource denial. This deck could use combos like Sanguine Bond and Exquisite Blood, with some added redundancy in the forms of Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose and Marauding Blight-Priest, or Mikaeus, the Unhallowed and Triskelion to close out the game. So, I think you should really lean into the control/combo shell.
